A comprehensive two day (13 educational hrs) course that will enable you to introduce HEG (Hemoencephalography) biofeedback into your practice, whether you are a medical doctor, psychologist, educator or performance coach.
Learn about this exciting new branch of neurofeedback from the internationally recognized Dr. Ernesto Sholomo Korenman, Neurophysiologist, Psycho-physiologist; certified Instructor of the BFE (Biofeedback of Europe) and IAPB (Israeli Association of Psychophysiology and Biofeedback.
The course covers all: physiological, instrumental, methodological and clinical aspects of HEG Biofeedback in its two forms; passive (pIR) and active (nIR) HEG.
Background: HEG (Hemoencephalography ) biofeedback is an effective and drugless treatment for many conditions involving mainly the brain’s frontal lobe activation.
HEG represents a simple and non-intrusive way of both monitoring and training cerebral function without the inconvenience of electrode preparation which other neurofeedback methods generally require. What’s more, HEG has high compliance by clients and patients since the training occurs while watching any DVD video of choice!
Clinical applications: HEG is being used increasingly by professionals in biofeedback practices and learning centres to treat and improve behaviour, mood and attention disorders related to frontal cortex functioning:
- attention and concentration difficulties
- ADD/ADHD
- poor memory
- mood disorders, and anger issues
- autistic disorders
- in medical practices for conditions associated with frontal cortex hypo-perfusion
- migraine headache
- epilepsy
- memory loss and cognitive decay associated with ageing
